The Village Treasure Hunt took place today with over 40 people taking part. On a lovely sunning afternoon, everyone formed up into teams and were given instructions to follow and clues to solve and off they went.

The route took the teams around the local area, mainly across farmland and along footpaths. 

After about an hour, the first teams started to return to the village hall for a bar-b-que. Their answers were checked and scores totted up to find a winner.

Treasure Hunt Winners 'Charlie Brown'

The winning team was Charlie Brown with 20 points out of a possible 24, with The Walpoles in second place with 15 points.

As the day was such a success it has been decided to make this an annual event.
