Top of the Flops 2005

March 2005
Both nights of the annual musical extravaganza, this year named 'Top of the Flops', were a great success.
Compere Jimmy Saville (aka David 'madasahatter' Dobson) introduced a
total of eleven acts and all did a great job of entertaining the
audience.
On the first night (Friday) the act with the winning number of votes
was 'Half of Abba' (Wendy Cutlan & Sue Hamilton-Barnes). Just one
vote behind in second place was 'Donna Summer' (Tracy Tyler) ably
assisted by her two beefcakes and close behind in third position was
'Richard Gere and Debra Winger' (Theo Huckle and Sue Davies).
On the second night (Saturday) the winning act was 'Donna Summer'
(Tracy Tyler). The compere, 'Jimmy Saville', got the second highest
number of votes. Obviously a number of confused members of the
audience.
