The Annual Michaelston-y-Fedw Mystery Trip got off to a sunny start on Sunday 25th June.

Two coaches took 86 villagers and friends to Caswell Bay, Swansea, for the annual trip to the beach. Despite fears of the trip being rained off, the weather forecasters were proved wrong and the sun shone all day. Some even took a dip in the sea!

The usual game of rounders resulted in a resounding victory for the ladies. And, of course, the picnic hampers were judged by Gareth Davies and 'hangers on' to find the best hamper of the day. The award went to Sue Hamilton-Barnes for the third year running with the judges being so impressed with the first tasting, they went back for seconds!

On returning to the village hall there was a bar-b-que and drinks.
